“I have awarded various large contracts to Kaizen over the past 4 years, including an extensive 2-year professional development programme. I have found them to be a highly professional organisation, easy to work with and responsive to our needs. Kaizen bridge the gap between theory and practice extremely well. Through their enthusiasm and innovative approach, Kaizen manage to engage even the least interested and most cynical of delegates.

‘Their ethos and working style has dovetailed very well with the City Council and has complemented the other training that we provide for staff. Their trainers are very skilled and every workshop delivered by them has met or exceeded the intended outcomes and results – I can without any reservation, highly recommend Kaizen as a training provider.”

Tina Short, former Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Liverpool City Council

Direct work with Young People

Our workshops can be targeted at any cohort of young people, for example, pupils who are disengaged with low aspirations; C/D borderline pupils; care experienced pupils; Gifted and Talented pupils. They can also be aimed to impact young people at key educational stages, such as KS1/2, Year 6/7 Transition, and Year 9. All our work is bespoke and workshops will be tailored to meet the aims and needs of each school and cohort.

Most typically we are brought in to facilitate workshops such as:

  • Leadership and Mindset for Success
  • Peer mentoring
  • Resilience
  • Working with challenging behavior/conflict resolution

“I have worked with Kaizen for 8 years because they always deliver. Kaizen’s input into our student leadership programme is very exciting and empowering for the students. Their approach engages the students very proactively and quickly focuses them, not only on their own natural leadership talents, but also on recognising other students’ skills and respecting their input into the sessions. They have a very personal approach that the children really respond to. With the more challenging students, some of them would have attained significantly less and some of them I would have expected to be excluded, had it not been for the training.” – Joan Barnes, Principal, The St Lawrence Academy
